The Talinga Park Rose Winemaking
The harvest for the Talinga Park Rose took place during the cool of the night. We do this to preserve the delicate fruit flavours and aromas. Initially, we crush and destem the Shiraz fruit. We then cold soak the fruit for several hours prior to pressing and clarification. We then inoculate the clarified juice with a pure yeast culture. The winemaking team then leave the juice to ferment in the stainless steel vats at cool temperatures. We leave the temperature cool to maintain the delicate natural aromas and flavours.
Talinga Park Rose Winemaker's Comments
This wine is a brilliant pale salmon colour in appearance. It also has rose petal, watermelon and wild strawberry aromas that lead to a textured and very generous palate.
