The Talinga Park Moscato
Pale straw with youthful green hues. A zesty, fruit-driven style that showcases the refreshing, clean characteristics of Moscato. Fresh aromas of rose petal and orange blossom with hints of musk and sherbet, followed by a lively palate of fresh melon and citrus with zesty spritz on the finish.
The Talinga Park Moscato Winemaking:
We c arefully select the parcels of fruit for the Talinga Park Moscato. Once this step is complete, we then crush, chill and bag press the select parcels. Our winemaking team do this to help preserve delicate fruit flavours and aromas of the juice. Afterwards, we clarify the juice before it goes through a slow, cool fermentation. We do this to ensure there is a combination of the residual sugars and to ensure a perfect balance of the acidity. We then leave the wine to stabilise, while we store it at cool temperatures in order to retain natural spritz prior to bottling.
Talinga Park was once a thriving orange grove and nursery of exotic fruit trees. It is now the name of Nugan Estate’s range featuring wine of exceptional quality. The Talinga Park range continues to over-deliver on both value and quality.
The Talinga Park Moscato Winemaker’s Comments
This wine is what we call a “frizzante” style of wine, which means semi-sparkling. The Moscato is pale straw with youthful green hues in appearance. It has very fragrant aromas of rose petal, honeysuckle and orange blossom that flow to a lively palate of apricot nectar and tropical juices, with zesty spritz on the finish.
