The Talinga Park Chardonnay
Pale straw in appearance, with vibrant aromas of white stone fruit entwined with grapefruit and hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanillin spice. A fresh and vibrant Chardonnay with a crisp, dry finish.
The Talinga Park Chardonnay Winemaking:
The Talinga Park Chardonnay from Nugan Estate is what we call ‘sunshine in a glass’. There were many environmental factors in play which lead to this wine being a fantastic drop. Warm sunny days and cool nights are responsible for producing the Chardonnay fruit in this wine. The fruit is of optimum flavour and balance. We harvest the fruit during the cool of the night. We do this to retain the delicate natural aromas and flavours. Afterwards, we crush and bag press the fruit. Then fermentation takes place at cool temperatures to preserve the delicate fruit flavours. Small portions of the blend receive some French Oak treatment, and we do this to add complexity to the blend.
