Talinga Park Pinot Noir
To retain the delicate natural aromas and flavours, the Pinot Noir grapes were crushed and cold macerated for several days, then yeasted and pumped over in a traditional style to avoid the extraction of bitter tannins. The wine was then fermented and matured with a portion receiving some French Oak treatment during primary fermentation.
Winemakers Comments
Brilliant red garnet in colour, with fresh and vibrant bouquet of blood plum, black cherry and allspice, intermingling with a palate of complex earthy, dark fruits and savory tannins.
Wine & Food Match
A perfect accompaniment to a fig & duck breast salad, charcuterie selection of pate, rillettes and terrines, or a simple tuna nicoise salad.
