The word on the street is all about this deep ruby red wine with a fine purple tinge. Intense fruit aromas of plum and blackcurrant are mixed with hints of mint and cassis, while a subtle balance of oak imparts a spicy savouriness. The palate is layered with berry fruit flavours, chocolate undertones, with fine grained tannins on the finish.
The Street Talk Cabernet Sauvignon from Nugan Estate
We source the fruit for the Street Talk Cabernet Sauvignon from the Nugan family’s premium vineyards in Australia. The winemaking team, under the guidance of Chief Winemaker, Daren Owers, will harvest the fruit in small batches at optimum ripeness. This will all take place in the cool of the night, and we do this in order to preserve the premium fruit flavours. After harvest, the team will then crush, yeast and gently pump the juice over to avoid the extraction of bitter tannins. The winemaking team will then transfer the juice to French Oak. It will remain here for 9 months, in order to mature prior to final blending and bottling.

This wine is deep crimson in appearance with purple hues. It also hhas enticing plum and cassis aromas mixed with hints of dark chocolate. This wine is an intense and complex palate of blackcurrant and vibrant cassis. It also has smooth velvety tannins beautifully layered with subtle French oak.
