The Nugan Estate Single Vineyard mixed dozen includes two of the Frasca’s Lane Chardonnay, sourced from the King Valley. This wine is pale straw in appearance, with aromas of peach and nectarine with mixed spice overtones. The elegant King Valley Frasca’s Lane Sauvignon Blanc has vibrant aromas of lemon, lime and guava. The delicate Frasca’s Lane Pinot Grigio is sourced from the cool climate King Valley, once we have picked the grapes they are whole bunch pressed. It is light straw in appearance, and has fresh aromas of pear, apple and florals, with a clean, crisp finish.
Secondly, there is also the Alfredo King Valley Frasca’s Lane Sangiovese. This wine is also dense garnet is appearance, with a youthful crimson hue. This wine has vibrant aromas of fresh black cherry. This delightful wine is sure to be the perfect accompaniment to a variety of dishes, such as pasta, to meat dishes and aged cheese. The Alcira Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the classic Coonawarra region of South Australia, these grapes come from the family vineyard there. On the palate, this wine displays intense flavours of dark berries, vibrant cassis fruit, followed by velvety tannins and a subtle oak accompaniment.
Enjoy the Manuka Grove Vineyard Durif with seared lamb rump, caramelised veal shanks with aged polenta or aged cheddar cheese. The McLaren Vale Parish Vineyard Shiraz has an impenetrable, inky red appearance with a youthful crimson hue. The Nugan Estate team pair this shiraz with hearty red meat dishes, for example, osso bucco or beef burgundy.
